Our story
We built Catharsis to offer safe solutions in an empathetic environment, and to help you feel better as fast as possible, so you can get back to living.
Why we started
Between us we have spent years in intensive care units, emergency rooms and aircraft cabins. In all of them, how someone is treated matters as much as what they are treated with.
So we built something smaller. A registered nurse comes to your door, talks things through with you first, and gives you an hour where you are the only person on the schedule.
What began as infusions now includes aesthetics too.
The two of us
Registered Nurse
Marsha brings extensive clinical experience as a registered nurse in ICU and ER settings across southern New Jersey and Philadelphia health systems.
Countless patient administrations later, she has developed expert-level IV catheter placement. She handles every clinical decision at Catharsis personally.
Operations
Effie leads operations, bringing multicultural customer service expertise earned in one of the most demanding hospitality environments there is.
Her years as a private flight attendant across Australia, Bahrain and Dubai taught her to anticipate what someone needs before they ask.

We travel across Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including most of the Greater Philadelphia area.
Living room, bedroom, office, hotel, even an airplane hangar. If you can get comfortable there, we can work there.
